Summer's not over yet and what's summer without a couple festivals?! Check out this list of various festivals right in your backyard this summer. It'll give you plenty of reasons to go road tripping right around Halton! All festivals listed have been featured on Ontarios Top 100 Festivals.

Saturday July 29, 2017

WTFest is a independent celebration of punkrock and hardcore bands from the world over. Its setup and put on by local promoters WrongWayRound now in their 6th year. Which is an all year round punkrock promotion from Southampton, UK The aim is to have as much fun as possible, celebrating a music scene, all while putting on a great cheap independent festival :D

Admission fee:

General Admission $54.99 (plus $6.83 service fee)

VIP(19+) $99.00 (plus $12.31 service fee)

WTFEST 2016 & 2017 LINEUP

Friday Aug. 18th - Saturday Aug. 19th

Occurring every 3rd weekend in August, ‘Cactus’ attracts visitors from across the nation and is the unofficial ‘homecoming’ event for any and all who have lived in the community. Continuing to evolve and expand, the FREE family fun Festival runs for 3 days and includes 4 entertainment stages, event zones and over 100 street vendors.

This August, the Festival celebrates 42 years and will once again be the signature event.

Come celebrate City of Burlington's annual Children's Festival! Join us as we celebrate being a kid. Live entertainment, Play zones and inflatables, Crafts, and Kids' marketplace!

BURLINGTON CHILDREN'S FESTIVAL 2015

4. Ribfest

September 1st - 3rd: 11am to 11pm, September 4th - 11am to 7pm

Each year, Canada’s largest Ribfest features award-winning Ribbers from all over North America who show off their succulent skills and compete for titles such as “Best Sauce” and “Best Ribs”. The event takes place over Labour Day weekend and provides visitors with jam-packed, family-friendly fun, including musical entertainment, an artisan fair, activities for the kids and, of course, messy, mouth-watering ribs! This event is a charitable fundraising initiative run by the Rotary Club of Burlington Lakeshore and has raised over $3 million for local charities and community organizations over the past 21 years.

Supercrawl is a free festival weekend of art, music, fashion, performance, craft and food vendors and much more. The annual open-air event takes place on James Street in Hamilton, Ontario.
